This policy explains how Grit Co Refinishing & Paint LLC, doing business as Grit Co ("Grit Co", "we", "us"), handles the information you share with us through this website. It applies to gritcotc.com and to the online forms on this site.

We collect the information you type into our quote request forms. Depending on which form you use, this can include:

• Your phone number
• Your email address (contact form only)
• Your city
• The service you are asking about and your property type
• Any project details you type into the message field
• Your preferred way for us to contact you (call, text, or email)
• How you heard about us (main contact form)

We do not ask for payment information, account passwords, or any health information through this site.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to respond to your quote request, schedule an estimate or a job, and answer your questions. We contact you the way you asked us to when possible.

Cookies and tracking on this site

This site uses Google Ads and Google Analytics to see how people find the site and to measure whether our ads are working. These tools use cookies and similar technology in your browser.

If you arrive here by clicking one of our ads, the phone number shown on the site may be swapped for a different tracking number. That tracking number still rings straight through to Grit Co. We only use it to tell Google which ads led to a phone call.

We also use Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA looks at how you interact with the page and may set its own cookies. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern how reCAPTCHA works.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the outside services that help us run this website and respond to you:

• A form delivery service, which takes what you type into our forms and delivers it to our inbox.
• Google, for reCAPTCHA spam protection and for Google Ads and Google Analytics as described above.
• Our web host, which keeps standard server logs to run and secure the site.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your phone number and check the text message box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from Grit Co about your quote or project.

• Reply STOP at any time to cancel. Reply HELP for help.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying any service from us.

How long we keep information

We keep the information from your form submission for as long as we need it to respond to your request, complete a job, or meet a legal or accounting requirement, then we delete it.

This site is served over HTTPS, so information sent through our forms is encrypted in transit. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children’s privacy

This site is meant for adults looking for resurfacing or painting services. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
